Job overview

Bemerton St John Primary School is looking to appoint a KS1 teacher to cover maternity leave.

This post is suitable for an experienced teacher looking for a fresh, exciting opportunity. The successful candidate must be a person with energy, enthusiasm, passion and commitment who enjoys working with well-behaved children with a thirst for learning.

Part of Magna Learning Partnership, our school is a one-form entry Church of England primary school with approximately 214 pupils on roll. We were judged Outstanding in our latest SIAMS inspection, and our 2023 Ofsted inspection found "enough evidence of improved performance to suggest that the school could be judged Outstanding if we were to carry out a graded (section 5) inspection now."

We can offer great professional development, a lovely working environment with supportive staff and aspirational children and colleagues.

Visits to the school are welcomed and actively encouraged. You will have the opportunity to meet our wonderful pupils and staff and to witness first-hand what a career with us can offer.

If you have any questions regarding the position or the school, please contact Lindsay Beldham, School Business Manager by email at finance@bemerton-st-john.wilts.sch.uk or phone the school on 01722 322848.
