About the Role
This is a part-time role: 29.6 hours per week.
We are looking to appoint an Early Years Assessor Coach to work within our apprenticeship department at Keighley College. You will deliver training and carry out assessments both in college and the workplace. You will develop online and blended learning material to support apprentices and assess against agreed standards using an electronic portfolio. The post would be suitable for those with experience in assessing childcare environments.
What You Will Do
- Deliver training and conduct assessment covering knowledge, skills and behaviours as appropriate, to facilitate timely success of apprentices and to provide a wide range of training solutions based on employer needs.
- Support, train and guide apprentices to timely completion of their apprenticeship standard.
- Assess apprentices and provide feedback.
- Plan and deliver training and workshops.
- Examine an apprentice's portfolio of evidence.
- Liaise with employers and respond to request for learner information.
About You
- Hold a minimum of NVQ 3 or specialist qualification in the curriculum area/specialist subject.
- Assessor A1 Award.
- Knowledge and experience within the curriculum area's industry.
