We are delighted to offer this opportunity to join Ridgeway High School

Ridgeway is a popular and oversubscribed school. The governors are seeking to appoint an inspirational teacher who has the drive and passion to make a difference to students at the school.

The successful applicant will:

  • be a well-qualified and dynamic teacher of English ready to join and contribute to an enthusiastic and fully committed department
  • be an outstanding classroom practitioner with a drive to improve the life chances of young people through education
  • have a proven track record of good results and be able to develop staff within the department and across the whole school
  • develop and implement teaching and learning initiatives which raise the quality of teaching practice of all members of staff and therefore raise standards and outcomes across the school
  • be expected to teach across key stage 3 and key stage 4
