About St. Catherine's Catholic School

St. Catherine's Catholic School is a comprehensive stand-alone academy in Bexleyheath, within the London borough of Bexley. We are a Roman Catholic School and educate girls aged 11-16.

The school was opened in 1953 by La Sainte Union sisters as a convent school. Their aim was to further the mission of their own founder, Father Jean Debrabant. Father Jean Debrabant believed that only a Christian based education offered a sure hope "for the future of religion and society."

St. Catherine of Siena is the school’s patron saint.

We particularly welcome applications from candidates who will bring the world to our students and will help us to ensure our staffing body is fully representative of the rich diversity of London's community.

Headteacher -  Mrs Nicola Thompson
