We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant
Term Time only, 36 hours per week,
Permanent (+5 staff development days)
Scale 3, Point 5 (Salary point dependent on experience)
We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to work in our thriving school. The staff and children make this school a very special place to work.
Initially this role would be to work within our beautiful Nursery setting. The Early Years was recently awarded ‘An Area of Excellence,’ from a Challenge Partner review for the approach taken towards child development. We have a stunning environment that we are very proud of. Please look at our website as there are lots of photos of our setting.
As William Byrd is a large three form Primary School, where Learning Support Assistant work within the school may change to meet the evolving needs of the school.
Applicants should have excellent communication and empathy skills and a commitment to teamwork. Previous experience of working with children in a primary school setting would be an advantage. Ideally, the post holder will hold a minimum of NVQ2 or equivalent in a relevant area.
Further training opportunities are available and actively encouraged.
As it is the Summer Holiday it is challenging to see us in action! However, tours will be available as part of the interview process.
