Leisure Assistant

ACES Academies Trust are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our HBK Leisure team based at Hinchingbrooke School.

This is a great opportunity to work in a busy Leisure department who hire the school’s facilities to a wide range of community clubs and businesses.

A National Pool Lifeguard Qualification or the willingness to train towards this qualification will be required. This role will mainly involve evening and weekend work outside of normal school hours.

Reporting to the Duty Supervisor your duties will include setting and dismantling sports equipment, telephone answering, operating the departments reception desk, dealing with bookings, enquiries and cash handling. In addition, when we re-open the facility you will be required to work behind the counter in our coffee bar. Once NPLQ qualified you will be required to lifeguard the pool ensuring the safety of bathers

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be focused on delivering excellent customer service standards
  •  Ensure high levels of cleanliness and housekeeping are maintained within the centre
  •  Support the varied programme of activities and sessions
  • Effectively communicate with other team members
