About the role 

The Maths Course Tutor position is suitable for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is committed to supporting both staff and learners in achieving success throughout the study programme and maintaining LCBT’s high standards.

This role also involves spearheading the learning and development of learners within the English and Maths provision, ensuring they devise, deliver and manage programmes to meet learners’ individual needs.

The position is one that plays and important part in the overall team and would enable the right candidate to grow within the organisation and further their career development into potential management.

About you

• You will have a teaching qualification (PGCE) and an A-Level in Maths.
• You will have an in-depth knowledge of the best Learning, Teaching, Assessment and Feedback practices. 
• You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
• You will have outstanding current knowledge of subject area.
• You will have recent and successful professional experience in the relevant area.
• You will have teaching experience within an educational setting (ideally Post-16).
• You will have ability to communicate with a range of learners on theoretical and practical aspects of the programme and the ability to lead learners to the successful completion of their programme.
• In addition, you must be committed to the development and progression of all learners.

Salary: 

From £29,000 to £32,000 per annum, subject to qualifications and experience
