Senior School Leidschenveen (SSL) is looking for a temporary part-time Maths Teacher (0.6FTE). The start date for this role is from January/February 2025 until July 2025.
Located in the residential area of The Hague, Senior School Leidschenveen (SSL) is the newest campus to join the British School in The Netherlands community, offering top-class education and activities in a brand new, state-of-the-art facility.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have:
- A strong knowledge of the Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Mathematics curriculum taught in England and Wales. IBDP mathematics knowledge is desirable but not essential.
- A successful track record in helping students to make excellent progress in Maths at secondary school level.
- A positive, flexible approach and willingness to contribute positively to a friendly, collegiate Maths department.
The Role:
Maths is taught in mixed ability groups in Years 7, and in set ability groups from Year 8 to 11. At GCSE (Years 10 and 11), students follow the Edexcel GCSE Maths syllabus. At Post 16, students study either IBDP or IBCP pathways. We offer A&I (SL) and A&A (SL/HL) courses within these programmes.students follow Pearson Maths syllabus.
