The school now has an exciting opportunity for an experienced  Maths Teacher to join our fantastic team. This is a Fixed Term Contract.

About the role

To teach Mathematics in as effective manner as possible to the range of abilities within our student body and to promote a genuinely positive approach to the subject. You will teach using a variety of delivery methods which will stimulate learning, meeting the demands of the syllabus and the needs of the students. Maintain discipline in accordance with the school’s procedures and encourage good practice with regard to punctuality, behaviour and standards of work.

Who we are looking for: 

To be considered for this role you will be a university graduate and qualified with UK approved PGCE or international equivalent. You should be able to teach up to GCSE Mathematics but the ability to teach A level/IBDP HL would be an advantage. We would also expect a clear understanding of effective teaching, learning and assessment techniques and an instinctive commitment to the safeguarding of young people, and an up-to-date knowledge of child protection procedures.
