Post 1: Part Time, 8.33 hours per week, term time only. Temporary for one year with view to extend. NJC02 £4,574 actual salary

Post 2: Casual hours, as required to cover 11.15 am to 12.55pm - salary NJC02

We are looking for professional, polite and confident team players who have experience of working with children, ideally in a community setting.

The job involves:

  • Being responsible for the safety, welfare and conduct of pupils and of others on the site during the midday break.
  • Ensuring reasonable behaviour and safe conduct of pupils by maintaining good order and discipline, dealing as appropriate in line with school behaviour policy.
  • Reporting of accidents in the playground in line with the school procedures and guidelines.
  • Inspiring a high level of playground interaction and play.
  • Responding appropriately to children with differing needs.
  • Use of school computer systems.
