Your Opportunity

Your Goals and Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging music lessons to groups of multi-age children.
  • Foster a deep appreciation and enthusiasm for music and singing among students.
  • Integrate musical activities with the school's project-based learning approach, aligning with themes of sustainability and entrepreneurship.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that are age-appropriate and cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Organise and lead school music events, performances, and activities that showcase students’ talents and effort.
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with other teachers to enhance cross-curricular connections and enrich the overall educational experience.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and creativity.


Your Qualities and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Music Education or a related field.
  • Teaching qualification recognised in the UK or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in teaching music to primary school-aged children, ideally within an international or diverse setting.
  • Passionate about sustainability and entrepreneurship, and ability to connect these themes to music teaching.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire young learners.
  • Creative, innovative, and adaptable teaching approach.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and lifelong learning.
