We are seeking an enthusiastic Network Technician to join our team at our Ellesmere Port Campus. This is an excellent opportunity for an innovative technician to provide a quality support service for learners, visitors, customers, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair IT systems and equipment (hardware, peripherals and software) to ensure they are functioning effectively, in accordance with agreed service standards;
- Install IT equipment and software to meet user needs;
- Identify persistent and potential problems and suggest and implement solutions;
- Assist with the inventory audits of equipment and software;
- Assist in the development and technical support of the technology infrastructure for both voice and data and;
- Promote the welfare of children and young people.
Key Person Specification Requirements:
- GCSE Grade C (4/5) or above in English and Maths (or equivalent);
- Understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion in work and the learning environment;
- Excellent organisational skills; and
- Appropriate level of digital literacy.

Crewe Campus
As well as our modern classrooms, the Crewe Campus boasts a multi-purpose sports hall, climbing wall and fitness gym where learners keep fit and practice various sports as part of their course. Our TV and radio studios have all the specialist equipment needed to produce and edit professional quality shows. Travel and Tourism learners get the chance to practise their skills in our mock aircraft cabin. Hospitality learners serve paying customers in our award-winning restaurant, The Academy. Other facilities include, hair, beauty and barbering salons, professional Centre Stage theatre and engineering and construction workshops.
