An exciting opportunity has arisen for a confident, personable and efficient individual with excellent attention to detail to join our hard working and dedicated staff in the role of Office Manager & PA to the DFO. This is a varied role with the opportunity to contribute to and collaborate with the whole school community.

As Office Manager, you will directly manage the School Office Administrator and Receptionists and oversee the school’s day-to-day administrative function, including whole school administration, customer service, reception, visitor management, event management and support the Deputy Head, Organisation with Pastoral Oversight with boarding administration.

As PA to the DFO, you will support the DFO by managing their daily commitments, collating information and preparing reports and census information, and support the HR Advisor with general HR administration and other staff related-tasks as appropriate, including managing the new staff induction, training and recruitment processes.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills with all stakeholders.
  • Be highly organised and will thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Enjoy working proactively as part of a team and independently, maintaining a high standard of performance at all times, ensuring all work is accurate and complete.
  • Have experience in HR and Office/Operations functions (desirable).
  • Previous experience of line managing a small team.


This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week all year round. Normal office hours are 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday with a 30-minute unpaid lunch each day. This is an onsite position.
