We are looking for an enthusiastic office /HR manager who would have experience in a similar role and ideally be familiar with working in an educational environment.  


The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the school process, high-level organisation, administration and ICT skills along with excellent written and oral communication skills. The ability to work to tight deadlines, prioritise and manage expectations is also essential. They must be used to working in a busy office, be flexible, adaptable and a team player, ability to work under pressure and still maintain a sense of humour!

About Sybourn Primary School and Children's Centre

Sybourn Primary School and Children’s Centre is a three-form-entry, co-educational, non-denominational primary academy for children aged 3-11, situated in Walthamstow, East London. It has nursery provision for foundation years as well as daycare facilities for 0-3 years. There are currently 670 pupils and the school is part of the Lion Academy Trust. 

The school was initially founded as a mixed school in 1903 in temporary buildings. Construction work was completed in 1910 for the main building. Sybourn Primary School is rated as “good” by Ofsted.

“Outstanding leadership from leaders and governors has brought about rapid improvement since the school became an academy. Teaching and achievement have improved considerably and are now good. Children make a good start in the well-resourced and stimulating early years’ provision. Teachers give pupils clear guidance about what they are learning and have high expectations of their work. Almost all pupils are from a range of minority ethnic backgrounds. The proportion of pupils who speak English as an additional language is high, including many at the early stages of speaking English.”
