About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the seamless operation of our school by providing exceptional support to our Senior Deputy Head. Key Responsibilities:

• Providing comprehensive PA support to the Senior Deputy Head, including handling confidential duties and assignments. 
• Managing and monitoring a busy schedule, resolving appointment conflicts efficiently.
• Preparing agendas and minuting meetings, including investigations, with attention to detail.
• Assisting with projects as required e.g. parking permits, lost property.
• Drafting professional communications and managing correspondence.
• Administering the School’s absence/cover/presence system for teaching staff, including record keeping and monitoring.
• Organising teaching cover and re-rooming lessons for events using iSAMS.

We are looking for a candidate who is organised, resourceful, and highly professional. You should be able to handle a varied workload with calm efficiency. Key skills and knowledge include:

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail.
• Proficiency in administrative software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with school management systems such as iSAMS, SOCS and Firefly is highly desirable.
• The ability to work independently while maintaining strong teamwork.
• Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
• Adaptability to respond swiftly to unexpected challenges.
• A positive and proactive attitude with a genuine interest in supporting the success of the school.
