Job overview

We are looking to appoint a PA to the SENDCo.

The successful post holder will provide confidential executive assistance and secretarial support to the SENDCO.

The hours of work for the role will be 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday and this will be required term time, plus five staff training days, plus 4 weeks in the college holidays spread throughout the year, so 43 working weeks in total, plus holiday pay.

The pay band for the role is Scale 7 (scp 19 to 24), The actual salary for the role is £28,783.29 to £32,365.29 (under 5 years’ service) or £28,897.51 to £32,491.97 (over 5 years’ service).

St Benedict’s Catholic College is a secondary school located in the ancient town of Colchester, Essex. Originally founded in 1963 as a secondary modern, St Benedict’s exists today as a co-educational voluntary-aided school.

It is the only Catholic secondary school in Colchester. With 900 students aged 11-16, St Benedict’s is a smaller than average secondary school.
