Safa Community School and Safa British School is an all-through UK curriculum school.

Currently, we are in search of a dynamic and passionate Marketing Manager to join our highly accomplished team part time. The successful candidate would be expected to work across both schools, 2 days a week at Safa Community School and 1 day a week at Safa British School. This is offered as a Local Contract, generous salary packages - salary dependent on experience. Paid as a 12 month contract, work 3 days a week, flexible working hours can be discussed.

The successful candidate will already be residing in Dubai. Only applications of candidates residing in Dubai will be considered.


Job Description

The Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, leading and executing marketing strategies and campaigns in line with school objectives, and aimed at creating awareness, interest and ultimately enrolments from prospective families for both schools.

The position will also support Safa Schools key projects and campaigns as required.


Key Accountabilities


Strategy and Financial

  • Co-lead Unique Selling Point workshops and assist in articulating brand for each school.
  • Create annual marketing plans and drill down specific marketing initiatives by quarter in line with school objectives and evolving needs throughout the year.
  • Develop marketing efforts that leverage cross-channel synergies to maximise reach and exposure supporting enrolment and awareness objectives.
  • Manage annual marketing budgets for both schools.
  • Responsible for performance of key marketing KPIs and ROI for marketing campaigns at both Safa schools.
  • Provide input on development of policies, systems and processes to drive efficiency.
  • Staying on top of trends and insights for the industry and beyond and sharing with both schools.


Paid Media Management

  • Lead the development of media plans in collaboration with both schools and relevant team members (digital, design, comms etc.)
  • Offer guidance regarding clarity and understanding of target audience, as well as the relevant channels through which to engage these ensuring effective media coverage for both schools.
  • Responsible for the full understanding of audience behaviour including enrolment curves. Provide recommendations for future campaigns accordingly.


Marketing and Brand Management

  • Responsible for the conceptualisation and production of all marketing campaigns and promotional activities for the schools in conjunction with relevant team members.
  • Ensure availability of creative assets including photography/videos and other relevant media.
  • Identify, oversee and provide recommendations to assess the creative effectiveness of marketing plans. Continuously optimise campaign performance.
  • Develop marketing materials and collateral in line with school needs e.g. Fact sheets, brochures etc. together with design as required.
  • Support Admissions teams as required with required asset and communication assets.
  • Spearhead the adoption of marketing best practices and drive this throughout both schools.
  • Support adherence to brand identity standards at all times for both Safa schools.


Operational and Administrative

  • Ensure budget compliance, adherence to company policies as well as legislative and regulatory requirements for all campaigns. Conduct ongoing reviews with the schools.
  • Review network of vendors and partners in line with overall strategic business objectives.
  • Serve as point of contact for external agencies as needed to ensure Safa's interests are best represented.
  • Coordinate and manage campaign materials review with relevant stakeholder and secure sign-offs prior to release.
  • Monitor competitive marketing activities and provide insights to the broader team.


Team 

  • The position will be expected to guide and collaborate closely with the Principals of both schools.
  • The position will be expected to work on designing, reviewing and supporting the execution of the school Marketing plans.


Skills

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant working experience.
  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
  • Experience in putting together Marketing strategies. 
  • A data-driven individual with a thorough understanding of Performance Marketing. 
  • Excellent organisational and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Familiarity with design and multimedia tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the Education sector or a service industry preferred.
