The Opportunity

St Dunstan’s Cheam Primary School has an exciting opportunity to appoint a part-time School Business Manager to join our aspirational Leadership Team. This is a permanent, part-time position with an immediate start available. The successful candidate must be driven, positive, and committed to working as part of a team dedicated to providing the best outcomes for the school and its pupils.  


The SBM is required to work 4 full days a week term time, plus during the May and October half terms and 1 week of the school summer holiday. We are flexible as to which four days a week you work.


What we are looking for

For this role, experience in finance and Human Resource is essential and this would preferably be from a school setting. The successful candidate will play a strategic role in school development and planning for the future as well as being responsible for the day to day running of our admin team, our midday supervisor team and site supervisor. They must be able to demonstrate excellent financial, analytical and administrative skills and be able to work effectively under pressure, giving attention to detail and accuracy.
