Join the Team at Global Academy: Pastoral Administrator & Medical Lead

Hours: 25 hours per week, 9:30am to 3:00pm, Monday to Friday, with a half-hour lunch break (unpaid). Attendance at INSET days is required, with some flexibility in start and finish times considered.

Salary: £12,204 per annum pro-rata inclusive of holiday pay (£25,168 FTE).

Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only, plus one additional week during school holidays (36 weeks per year).

Location: On-site at Global Academy, Hayes

Global Academy is seeking a Pastoral Administrator & Medical Lead to play a vital role in supporting our Attendance Officer, maintaining student welfare, and managing our behaviour systems. This is more than just a role; it’s an opportunity to shape a thriving school community, ensuring that every student’s experience is as positive and supported as possible.

About the Role

As the Pastoral Administrator & Medical Lead, you will be integral to our pastoral care team, providing high-quality administrative support for attendance tracking and behaviour management. You will also take on the critical role of Medical Lead, overseeing first aid and medical recordkeeping, ensuring the health and safety of our students. From generating insightful reports on attendance, behaviour, and well-being to coordinating meetings and training sessions, your contributions will have a lasting impact.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven administrative skills with a keen eye for detail and experience in handling confidential information.
  • Strong IT proficiency, with the ability to manage and use our behaviour and attendance systems effectively.
  • A passion for student welfare, ready to support our Attendance Officer and serve as our on-site medical lead.
  • Discretion and integrity, with a commitment to upholding safeguarding and professional standards.

We work closely with our industry connections to ensure the skills we teach are the ones companies are looking for and our students leave the academy with a network of contacts along with the ability to progress into further education or employment.
