Grade G – Pt 23: £32,076 - Pt 28: £36,648 (Pro Rata)

Fixed Term – 12 Months

Required for September 2024

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Pastoral Manager. You will be based at one of our two main academic sites, you will be deployed across the service, to support and engage pupils on our roll, many of whom who have significant barriers to learning. Previous experience of working within an education setting with pupils in a supporting role is essential to contribute towards a positive learning culture, which promotes success and personal well-being.

Tameside Pupil Referral Service is a Key Stage 2- 4 Provision, committed to the education of pupils permanently excluded from school, as well as others who have special educational and medical needs. The successful candidate will be joining a diverse and vibrant local authority committed to excellence and where support for our most vulnerable young people features prominently in our priorities.  

The KS3 and KS4 facilities were purpose built in 2012 under the Building Schools for the Future programme and offer outstanding opportunities for further development.
