Our stated goal is to be a +1 school for progress and as such, we are looking for two highly motivated, professional and well qualified pastoral leaders to join us in our mission.
Our pastoral support leaders are an outstanding group of people with a passion to see all young people succeed. In joining this team, you will play a key role in working with a wide range of students with varying degrees of need, to help them navigate and succeed in secondary school.
This job is suitable for someone who is looking for a career in education or working with young people. While experience of working in a similar field or role is preferable it is not essential. In all cases, training is available for the right candidate who wishes to develop their skill set. What is essential is the drive and determination that every student shall receive the support they need to be given the best chance to succeed; a person who is confident enough to evaluate current provision, identify areas we can improve and then implement the required improvements will be successful in the position. You will support in the behaviour of a specific year group and often have to work with students who find school difficult. Fundamentally you have to really care about students.
We have two vacancies; one to cover maternity leave and one on a fixed term basis until 31st August. Whilst we cannot guarantee, we are hopeful that some permanent positions will be available in September 2025.
What you will get from Trinity Academy:
- The chance to join a growing organisation during an extremely exciting time, with the opportunity for development.
- Membership to the Local Government Pension Scheme.
- Employees can join our cycle-to-work scheme.
- A 24/7 employee assistance programme which provides counselling, support and advice on a wide array of areas.
- Considerable opportunity for career development both within the school and across the Cathedral Schools Trust.
