At St Gregory’s, our Pastoral Team is held in high regard across our community and we consider our Pastoral Support Managers to be a key team in our success as a school.
Each year group in school is led by a ‘Pupil Progress Manager’ who is also a teacher and they are each supported by a Pastoral Support Manager who is a non-teaching staff member. The successful candidate will work with a specific year group and within a team of five Pastoral Support Managers in a hugely supportive environment.
We are looking to interview candidates who are efficient, organised, highly motivated and committed to providing excellent support to all stakeholders.
The successful applicant will:
· be able to communicate with effectively with pupils, parents and staff
· support pupils in their learning and overall personal development by encouraging positive attitudes towards all aspects of school life
- understand the need for confidentiality and discretion and demonstrate very high standards of professionalism at all times
· enjoy working with children acting as a positive role model at all times
· mentor pupils to support them in achieving their full potential
· understand the importance of establishing and maintaining an effective safeguarding culture
