Outwood Academy Bydales is an 11–16 school located in the beautiful coastal village of Marske-by-the-Sea, close to the North York Moors National Park and with spectacular views of the coastline. About the Role

We are looking for a full-time Teacher of Physical Education commencing September 2025. The right candidate will be an energetic, enthusiastic and inspiring practitioner with a real passion for their subject and for improving students’ lives through high-quality teaching and learning. We offer an exciting opportunity to enhance an already highly successful and motivated team. The successful candidate will teach high-quality mixed-ability lessons across a broad, wide range of practical activities, including athletics, rugby, fitness, cricket and volleyball. The successful candidate should have excellent subject knowledge and pedagogy to enable them to deliver KS4 sport qualifications to a high standard. There is an expectation to provide opportunities for extracurricular activities through enrichment and fixtures.

We are an Outstanding, 11-16 academy based in the picturesque coastal village of Marske-by-the-Sea, close to the stunning North York Moors National Park. We have been part of the Outwood family of schools since 2014.
