To support the school’s fundraising and alumnae engagement activity, you will play an important role developing and maintaining the school’s relationships with former pupils, past and present parents, and wider supporters.

Working with the Director of Philanthropy, you will drive the school’s community relations programme and be responsible for developing contact and long-term engagement with a wide variety of people who have had an affiliation of some form with South Hampstead High School.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Researching, writing and editing content for the school’s alumnae engagement communications and media
  • Planning and delivering a calendar of exciting and engaging events for alumnae
  • Working with the Director of Philanthropy to build a strategic fundraising programme
  • Researching and identifying potential supporters
  • Building relationships with key members of the school’s alumnae community
  • Planning and delivering careers events to support current pupils e.g. inviting members from the broader South Hampstead community to speak to and inspire pupils

About you

You will need to be an effective communicator who can build strong working relationships. You will also need strong organisational skills.

Excellent writing skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure and meet deadlines are equally important.
