Job overview

The Casco Schools are looking to appoint enthusiastic and passionate Primary school teacher to work in our close, supportive and dynamic team.

Watch our video here for a little more on life in Panama and at The Casco School.

As a boutique and bilingual British school, The Casco Schools were established to provide high-quality education in Panama. We currently offer preschool, primary, and high school. Our schools are united by one philosophy: we are ambitious for our students, our staff, and our community.

The Casco School is unique in character, offering a truly engaging global education for students, nestled in the heart of three of Panama's neighbourhoods: the iconic old city, Casco Viejo; the main business district, Costa del Este; and in the north of the city, Albrook. Our schools are creative, dynamic, based around a strong community of families, all seeking a neighbourhood school with a difference. We have families enrolled from around the world, all wishing to align with our international ethos.

We aim to inspire our students to learn, explore, and soar, developing them into confident, creative, and well-balanced global citizens who face challenges with determination, eagerness, and excitement. We offer an unparalleled standard of personalised education with opportunities for students to explore their creative side and learn from the very best international teachers in small groups. We have a co-teacher model with English and Spanish-speaking teachers in each classroom working collaboratively to personalise learning for all children.

As a member of our team, we truly value and wish to make use of your skills and experience. We operate with a horizontal leadership approach, with the school Principals being active members of your school day. Decisions are made together as much as possible, as teachers know the children best. That said, being a purposefully smaller school, our leaders and teachers all know each child on their campus, as we are passionate about building a community-driven school. As a bilingual school, we do not expect you to have a full grasp of Spanish, just a positive attitude towards learning.
