  • Manages the diverse ability levels of students by adapting curriculum and lesson plans to fit individual student needs and learning styles, including differentiating where appropriate, while maintaining overall class progress;
  • Assessing and recording student development, while identifying target areas and areas which need attention and improvement; Inspiring Every Child to Love Learning
  • Plans, creates and maintains an organised, safe, positive and stimulating learning environment for students;
  • Works with the class learning assistant to plan, coordinate and execute lessons and class activities;
  • Promotes and celebrates a value based school ethos;
  • Communicates with parents as per school guidelines on a regular basis;
  • Believes in and implements a positive discipline approach to behaviour with excellent behaviour management skills both inside and outside the classroom;
  • Organises and takes part in school community events, outings and activities which may occasionally take place at weekends or in the evening;
