Treloar’s is a charity which runs one of the UK’s largest specialist education centres for young disabled people to live and learn. Through our school and college, we offer students the opportunity to fully take part in life and achieve their aspirations.

We are looking for a skilled receptionist to handle administrative tasks and reception duties at the Jowett Centre reception in Treloar’s. The ideal candidate will create a friendly atmosphere for visitors, students, and employees, while also offering administrative assistance to the School and College office.

Your duties will include:

  • Signing in all visitors and advise of appropriate procedures when at Treloar’s
  • Operating the driveway barrier system and to report any concerns regarding the barrier to the Facilities team
  • To provide admin support to the School and College Administrator Coordinators; including booking rooms; typing letters, documents, data entry, collating documents, filing, as requested
  • Monitor the visitor’s car park and manage the arrival of visitors from various entrances
  • Update daily school/college attendance onto appropriate database
  • Support with covering the Switchboard as and when required
  • Collating all internal and external mail and distributing/franking as required; on a daily basis.

About you:

To work in this busy and dynamic environment the successful candidate will be educated to GCSE standard (or equivalent). You will be experienced in providing friendly and efficient customer service within a reception environment. Effective prioritising and good knowledge of IT systems are also essential.

The hours for the role are 8am – 12.30pm Monday, Thursday and Friday.
