An opportunity has arisen for the post of school receptionist. The main responsibilities and duties of this post are to ensure the smooth running of the reception and switchboard. This is a busy and demanding post that requires the suitable candidate to have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and be able to relate confidently to both parents and students.
Our receptionist is the public face of a successful school, which means telephone manner and standards of appearance must be professional and immaculate. The successful candidate will be expected to fulfil other clerical /administrative jobs within the school.

Appointment to this post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring and background check
The ability to converse at ease with customers and service users and provide advice in accurate spoken English is an essential requirement of this post.

Middleton Technology School is an 11-16 school, and is one of 4 secondary schools serving the town of Middleton within the Borough of Rochdale to the north of the Manchester boundary. The school is part of Great Academies Education Trust which is a small multi academy trust.
