Hours: 20 hours per week, (Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday) term time only, plus three INSET days

We are currently looking for a receptionist to join our team at Maiden Erlegh School.

The school are looking for a committed individual to provide efficient, effective and confidential reception support. Previous school receptionist experience is desirable but not essential.

 Key skills and experience needed:

  • Good general communicator both written and oral.
  • Organisation and time management skills.
  • Ability to identify customers needs quickly and deal with queries.
  • Reliable, tactful, diplomatic and sensitivity are paramount to this post.
  • Flexible and a willingness to learn and develop personal skills.

The successful applicant will enjoy working with 11-18-year-olds. You must be adaptable and willing to be involved in all aspects of school life, have a calm manner and be able to work as part of team. You will share our inclusive values of “opportunity, diversity and success for all” and you will have a willingness to develop your own practice in line with our ethos of continuous improvement.

Maiden Erlegh School, an Ofsted awarded 'Outstanding' school in all inspection categories, is a highly successful comprehensive school providing education and enrichment for over 1,800 students aged 11-18.
