Home based with travel to academies

Are you an enthusiastic, and dynamic HR professional looking for a new challenge? Then Academy Transformation Trust is the place for you. A wonderful opportunity has arisen to join a professional, enthusiastic and friendly team as the Regional HR Business Partner.

Closely partnering primary and secondary academies in the Trust’s Midlands region, you will provide a proactive, effective and efficient HR service ensuring that strategies are in place to balance the needs of individual academies whilst supporting the delivery of ATT’s strategic objectives. In particular, you will act as a business partner to Principals, Managers and Local Governing Body members, negotiate with trade unions and resolve a broad spectrum of issues, spanning employment practices, learning and development, pay and conditions, talent planning and disciplinary and grievance matters. Equally importantly, you will drive profound change to ensure we comply with evolving legislation and have significant experience of successfully managing complex and contentious HR case work. Lastly, you will have demonstrable successful experience of supporting the development of leaders and less experienced HR colleagues.

A CIPD Level 7 qualified professional (or equivalent demonstrable experience), you will bring sound generalist HR experience gained in a fast-moving environment. This will have given you proven expertise to manage a complex caseload, interpret and apply guidelines, advise senior management and define best practice. Familiarity with educational issues would naturally be useful, but your project leadership, interpersonal, conflict resolution and influencing skills will be far more important.

If you would like to find out more about the role, please contact Clare Plant, Director of People Strategy via email at clare.plant@attrust.org.uk

Closing date: 9.00am on Monday 30th September 2024.

Interview date: w/c 7th October 2024.
