Job overview
As successful full boarding schools with a comprehensive programme of co-curricular activities, Sherborne Girls and Hanford have a wide-ranging profile of Health & Safety and other risks. The recent merger to create the Sherborne Schools Group has added further to the profile with the addition of Sherborne School, Sherborne Prep School and the short courses delivered at Sherborne International. This post is a support position, focussed on providing coordination, administration and delivery support to the Director of Risk Management in both his risk management and transport roles. The post is based at Sherborne Girls, although limited work may be required across the other sites on occasion.
The Risk and Transport Coordinator will provide support to the Director of Risk Management to ensure that all relevant standards in health, safety and fire are met and will assist with administration tasks and budgetary requirements to enable the smooth running of the Risk and Transport Department.

Sherborne Girls will conduct online searches for shortlisted candidates. This check will be undertaken based on the requirements set out in Keeping Children Safe in Education 2023.
