You’ll need to be…
• positive, supportive and patient
• organised and reliable
• able to inspire students with your infectious enthusiasm and energy
• experienced in all types of roofing
• able to explain things simply and clearly
• willing to work towards L4 IQA (Internal Quality Assurance) qualification
What you’ll be doing…
• training apprentices and wider industry
• developing the roofing curriculum
• marking work, tracking progress and giving feedback
• supporting, training and mentoring the next generation of roofers

* salary range includes a £2,000 supplement for skills shortage areas. If you’re in the first 5 years of your FE teaching career, you may also be able to claim a Targeted Retention Incentive Payment of up to £5,000.
