We are seeking passionate, enthusiastic, and innovative teachers from the UK to join our supportive and well-resourced teaching staff at One Tree Hill College (OTHC) starting January 2025. We expect to have roles in the following subject areas:

  • Health and Physical Education (HPE)
  • Mathematics
  • English
  • Science (including Physics)
  • Geography


One Tree Hill College is a leading Year 9 to 13 (age 13 to 18 years) co-educational secondary school in central Auckland, situated beneath the famous One Tree Hill - Auckland’s most significant landmark (One Tree Hill was also made famous by Irish band U2). We provide high quality education for our students and have a reputation for outstanding academic and sporting achievement. Established in 1955, One Tree Hill College is a school with strong traditional values, and very modern facilities following a $23 million investment in recent years. There are 1,450 students at the college, with places for enrolment in significant demand.

Remuneration:

The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position is set by the Secondary Teacher's Collective Agreement (STCA) Secondary Teachers' Collective Agreement (2022–2025) The base salary for trained and registered teachers currently ranges from NZD$59,027.00 to NZD$99,216.00, depending on the applicant’s qualifications and experience. Individuals’ actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment by Education Payroll once a role is confirmed.
