Job overview

We are looking for a highly talented, motivated and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to work with teaching staff to support the needs of our students, ensuring that they reach their potential.

If you are enthusiastic and interested in continuing to develop your role through CPD then The View is the place for you. We offer an extensive programme of CPD and staff training for all staff and actively encourage staff to take part in this.

The successful candidate will be a valuable part of our school community, able to work as part of our amazing friendly team, supporting students in all areas of their development and school life.

The View School is an Independent Special School providing education for young people with Social Emotional and Mental health difficulties, including a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Condition, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Oppositional Defiance Disorder, Pathological Demand Avoidance & Post Traumatic Stress Disorder during Secondary and Post 16 phases of education.

Judged “Good” by Ofsted, our aim is to provide our students with the confidence and resilience to meet the challenges that act as barriers to their education and impact upon successful outcomes in their everyday lives.

You are advised to submit your application as soon as possible as applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled.

The View School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of every student and we expect all our staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We value diversity and promote equality for all.
