Job overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SENCO to join our team at Oxclose Community Academy to support the Headteacher leading managing and monitoring all SEND policies and strategies to deliver the academy’s vision.

The successful individual will be a qualified teacher with a SENCO qualification and experience working with students with a wide range of special educational needs.  They will have strong knowledge of current SEND legislation and best practices in inclusive education. 

This key individual will have excellent communication skills with proven ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders including teachers, parents and other professionals. The ability to relate well to children and young people and members of the community is essential.
