Actual Salary – £13,772pa

Working hours - 9.30am - 2.30pm (45mins lunch) (21.25hrs per week)

Stanburn Primary School is seeking to appoint a proactive and skilled SEND Administrative/Clerical Assistant to help us continue to improve our school. The successful candidate will provide essential support to the SENDCO. We are seeking a dedicated and organised individual, to support the excellent work of the SEND team and the learners they work with. This will include maintaining accurate files and records of learners with SEND, liaising with parents and external stakeholders, assisting with the EHCP process and preparing Annual Review paperwork.

The successful candidate will:

·      Have relevant education qualifications and good spoken/written English;

·      Have a working knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures;

·      Have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software. e.g. Excel, Word, Power-Point

·      Writing clear and succinct letters to a range of different stakeholders

·      Ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with a wide range of people

·      Good listener who communicates information effectively to a wide range of stakeholders

·      Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a strong school team

·      Has a thorough understanding of school health, safety, first-aid and safeguarding protocols;

·      Have experience of working in a busy environment;

·      Believe in and passionately support the vision, ethos and policies of the school;

·      Be enthusiastic, quick thinking and have excellent organisational skills to prioritise workload in a fast paced environment;
