We seek to appoint a Senior Cover supervisor to join the team at George Pindar School. This post is permanent, working 37 hours per week, on a term time only basis.

This role will manage planned absence requests and day-to-day absences of teaching and support staff. Senior Cover Supervisor will provide short term cover for absent teaching staff, allocating pre-prepared work, keeping students on task and managing the behaviour of students during lessons. The role does not involve planning, preparing, delivering lessons or assessing and reporting on the development progress and attainment of students.

This role is ideal for those considering taking a next step towards a career in Teaching, or stepping back from a teaching role, This role provides opportunities for experience across a breadth of subjects and range of year groups.
