Archbishop Beck Catholic College is an Archdiocesan school and we pride ourselves on our strong Catholic ethos. We are based in North Liverpool and have 1200 students on roll across year groups 7 - 13. The College is heavily over-subscribed and very well respected by the local community.

In our recent Ofsted inspection in November 2021, we were judged ‘Good’ in all aspects.

We promote an atmosphere where high standards of behaviour, respect and academic achievement are expected.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced, innovative effective and highly motivated Site Manager to be responsible for the management and development of facilities and services that support the College Community to ensure that the most suitable working environment exists for all students, staff and visitors. 

The postholder will work under the direction of the College Business Manager and have direct line management responsibility for the Site Team and Cleaning Supervisor. They will work closely with service contract leads and support senior leaders in planning, particularly in relation to all College buildings and grounds, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and using best practice to improve efficiency and reducing operational costs.

About Archbishop Beck Catholic College

Archbishop Beck Catholic Sports College is a mixed, comprehensive, Roman Catholic secondary school with sixth form situated in the Walton area of western Liverpool. It is a voluntary aided state school administered by Liverpool City Council and falling under the Archdiocese of Liverpool. A larger than average size for a secondary school, the school will provide 1,500 places for secondary school students between the ages of 13-18 when fully subscribed.

The former Archbishop Beck High School was renamed the name it has today after gaining specialist Sports College status in 2000. 2014 saw a change of campus for the school to the Long Lane site where it is located today.
