The Life Education Trust are looking for a self-motivated and practical person to take on the role of Site Manager across our 4 schools, Fordham All Saints, Holy Trinity Eight Ash Green, Chappel Primary and Langenhoe C P School.

The Site Manager plays a vital part in our schools by ensuring that the buildings are safe and ready for teaching and learning to take place. 

We are a group of small rural primary schools, with building ranges from Victorian to modern day, we also have Forest school areas.

This role will suit someone who is organised, practical and friendly and who will have a flexible approach to their work and the ability to work independently. They will liaise with contractors and tradesman as well as students and staff. They will have strong DIY and handyman skills, e.g. decorating, carpentry, plumbing and be willing to learn how to use the systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for making sure the site is safe, secure, well maintained.

Ideally, you will:

possess an awareness of COSHH, Safe Manual Handling practices and Health & Safety and have prior experience of working within a similar setting. (Although, this is not essential.)

Full driving licence and use of your own car is essential as you may be required to attend the more than one school in a working day.
