Job title: Speech and Language Therapist
Location: Kestrel House School – London
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 4.30pm
Contract: Permanent, Term Time only, 41 weeks (There may be scope for this role to be a full-time contract (52 weeks) if this is your preference, please get in touch to discuss.)
Salary: Up to £53,200 (pro-rata, dependent upon experience)
Essential: Valid UK full driving licence and access to own vehicle
About the role

We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist to join our developing in-house Clinical Team, this includes occupational therapy, psychotherapy and therapy assistants. You will deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for the pupils we support.
You will be responsible for holding a speech and language therapy caseload and with the full support of our knowledgeable Clinical Team, you will also contribute to staff training and consultation. Both a challenging and rewarding role, this position would suit a resilient and enthusiastic individual, with a creative therapeutic approach and the ability to make decisions, as well as manage their own workload. In addition, you will provide information and training to staff, commissioners and other agencies as required.

Essential Criteria:
- Allied Health Professional qualification in Speech and Language Therapy
- Registered with the HCPC and RCSLT
- Experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams
- Experience of working with children, young people and adults who have an intellectual disability and/or autism with additional needs (e.g. complex trauma, mental health needs, behaviours of concern)
- Experience of working within school environments
- Valid UK full driving licence and access to own vehicle
