As Head of Food Technology, you will become an integral part of our dynamic and exciting group of middle leaders.  You will enjoy working alongside a group of accomplished and experienced professionals in the Food Technology Department.  You will enjoy the full support of our senior leadership team in taking the department to the next level.

The specific responsibilities of this role will be discussed with applicants on an individual basis, to be matched with the applicant's skill set and experience.

The post holder would be expected to work across two sites - Queensmead School and Harefield School.  

We are simultaneously advertising for a Teacher of Food Technology post in a separate advert.  We are only looking to make one appointment, but wish to give opportunities for a wide range of candidates to apply.

A Recruitment & Retention Bonus of £2,000 is being offered, for a strong candidate. This will be discussed at interview.

Queensmead School is based in South Ruislip, Middlesex, and is a ‘Good’, oversubscribed 11-18 mixed comprehensive school where students achieve very highly and display ‘excellent behaviour’ (Ofsted).  It currently has around 1,450 students.
