About the role:
We are currently seeking Teacher in A-Level Fine Art to join The Bedford Sixth Form.
As a Teacher you play an important role in the success of our students through:
- Undertaking an agreed teaching commitment to develop students’ knowledge, skills, and understanding.
- Engaging, and motivating students, fostering curiosity and enthusiasm for learning.
- Planning, preparing and delivering high-quality lessons.
- Providing timely assessments and feedback to help students improve their learning.
- Contributing to achieving retention and success targets for courses taught.
About you:
Ideal candidates will have:
- Degree in a relevant subject
- Certificate in Education or equivalent in line with the Statutory Instrument
- English and Maths or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent Current experience of teaching A-Level Fine Art.
- Experience of teaching in a Sixth Form or FE College environment with students 16 – 18 year olds
- Experience of using ILT to enhance teaching and learning
- Experience of working effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
