We are looking to appoint a Subject Lead. Applicants will join a well-led and motivated team committed to continuous improvement.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Subject Lead who will lead a small PE department. This will include designing the curriculum, line managing one other member of the team, and coordinating after-school clubs, as well as carrying out the quality assurance of PE.
In this role, you will:
- Set high expectations which motivate and challenge students in a productive learning environment
- Promote good outcomes by students, planning well-structured lessons
- Review curriculum policy and practice
- Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge
- Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all students
- Make accurate and productive use of assessment
- Fulfil wider professional responsibilities with high standards of personal and professional conduct
