Job overview

We are seeking to appoint a passionate and enthusiastic Teacher of art to join our thriving and successful department.

The successful candidate will join a department with a historical track record of outstanding teaching and learning, collaborative planning and a strong team working ethos. You will be teaching both KS3 and KS4 curriculums with full support from the head of department and lead practitioners. As a faculty we also offer a variety of extra-curricular activities for students and we would like the successful candidate to be fully involved, bringing their own practice as a specialism.

The creative faculty actively engages with school productions and showcases and would like the successful candidate to involve themselves alongside department staff. Please refer to the job description for further information.

Kingsway Park High School was established in 2010 and joined the Altus Education Partnership in February 2022. We are now a very popular oversubscribed school (1350 students in years 7-11 and 190 staff) located in central Rochdale.
