Loreto Grammar School is an 11-18 Roman Catholic Grammar School for Girls with Academy status located in Altrincham, in the Borough of Trafford. It is a thriving, successful and over-subscribed school, judged as “Outstanding” by Ofsted in September 2022 and by the Diocese of Shrewsbury. Loreto is a happy place to work.
The Governing Body is seeking to appoint a colleague to join our successful Social and Computer Sciences department. The appointed candidate will be required to teach Business up to and including A Level, and be an engaged and enthusiastic member as a teacher and form tutor. The ability to also teach Economics would be welcomed but is not essential. We welcome applications from colleagues at all career stages, including ECT. The successful candidate will join an established and supportive Loreto community and be expected to commit to the ethos and values of the school.

About Loreto Grammar School
Loreto Grammar School is a selective Roman Catholic girls' secondary with sixth form, situated in Altrincham, Cheshire. It is supported by a single-academy trust, the Loreto Grammar School Trust, and is part of a network of 120 Loreto schools across the world, with strong links to international schools in countries such as India, Australia and Germany. It provides a total of 1,040 places for students aged 11-18.
The school was founded in 1909 by the Sisters of Loreto, and assumed academy status in August 2012.
