Teacher of Design and Technology

We are looking to appoint a motivated, enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher of Design and Technology. The successful candidate will also assist the Head of Department in ensuring that the Department fully complies with all of the applicable Policies and Procedures.

The strength of the Design and Technology faculty is the breadth of the courses and opportunities offered to pupils at KS3 and KS4. The KS3 programme of study includes six modules throughout Year 7 and a more in depth study of these modules in Years 8 and 9. The programme of study at KS3 has been devised through team work and taught using shared resources. The faculty offers Electronics, Food, CAD/CAM (Laser cutting and 3D printing which is used regularly to enhance pupils learning), Graphics, Resistant Materials and Textiles at KS3 in modular units.
