Job overview
The successful candidate for this role will have excellent subject knowledge and be able to teach across to all ages and abilities at KS3, KS4 and KS5, and would teach in line with AQA, GCSE and A Level specifications. Experience of development project using timbers, metals, polymers, with a range of tools and machines, in combination with new technologies would be an advantage.

Aldenham School is an independent, mixed day and boarding school for pupils aged 3 to 18. The school was established in 1597 and still sits on the same site.
The governing body of the school includes representatives from local bodies including the Brewer’s Company and the Diocese of St Albans. It is operated by the Aldenham School Charity, and has 800 pupils.

“The overall achievement of pupils throughout the school is excellent. Pupils develop well in knowledge, skills and understanding across all subject areas and some achieve excellent standards, particularly in the EYFS, the prep school and the sixth form.”
