Located in the foothills of the Pennines and within half an hour of central Manchester, Hollingworth Academy is ideally situated to inspire and engage students in the world around them! We are looking for an inspirational teacher to join our team at Hollingworth Academy, who believes in nurturing children to develop a love of Geography. Applications are invited from excellent classroom practitioners with a proven record of motivating students to achieve success. The successful applicant will have a record of delivering consistently good to outstanding lessons and have the ability to deliver schemes of work which help promote academic passion and memorable experiences for all students.

Hollingworth Academy is now one of two academies in the recently formed Hollingworth Learning Trust, along with Newhouse Academy. Hollingworth Learning Trust’s core purpose is to make a positive difference to the lives of its children. Its role, as a sponsor of both academies, is to provide the support, challenge, expertise and resources necessary to significantly improve the provision for education.
