About Role

We are in search of a candidate with a strong grasp of A-level history courses, particularly someone with extensive experience in teaching ESL students. This individual should be capable of offering substantial support to the team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate a strong ability to work collaboratively within a team.

The Dulwich International High School Programme offers a curriculum for high school students that is made up of the IGCSE and A-Levels, with CNC modules offered by local partners, for Chinese and foreign students who want an excellent educational experience in preparation for the best universities in the UK, USA or elsewhere, inspiring them to build a global mindset on the foundation of English mastery and cultural understanding to be able to thrive in an interconnected, multicultural and multilingual world. Post-holder Qualifications, Experience

  • THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
  • Graduate qualified teacher (granted teaching certificate, e.g. PGCE, QTS etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject area
  • Master’s degree an advantage
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with specialism in A-level history
  • Successful experience in working with students in the age group you are teaching
  • Demonstrated experience in inspiring students in a stimulating learning environment
  • Demonstrated experience of using ICT to promote learning
  • Previous experience in an international school and familiarity with British education system preferred
  • Experience in teaching EAL students preferred
  • Ability to analyse student data to support student achievement
  • Demonstrated experience in raising achievement and setting challenging targets
  • Strong commitment to supporting all aspects of our programme, especially through participating actively in the extra-curricular activities and contributing to the life of the school community
