Job overview
We are seeking an innovative and enthusiastic teacher to inspire pupils in Mathematics. The successful candidate will teach Maths from Year 9 to Year 13 and have high expectations, dynamism, and excellent communication skills. We expect our teachers to champion their subject and to encourage intellectual curiosity and active learning.
The Mathematics department consists of dynamic and dedicated teachers, committed to making Maths both accessible and exciting to all students. We aim to inspire a love of problem-solving, logical reasoning, and mathematical curiosity. Together the department form a strong team that support one another and regularly share best practices.
Students achieve top grades at GCSE and many go on to study maths in the Sixth Form either through the IB programme or at A level. We offer both Maths and Further Maths A level which benefit from small class sizes.
Bryanston is a leading co-educational full-boarding school set in a beautiful 400-acre campus, surrounded by Dorset countryside, and provides an outstanding education for 780 pupils aged 3-18. We pride ourselves on being a happy, creative, and forward-thinking place to learn with the freedom to explore.
We welcome applications from ECTs and experienced teachers from both the independent and state sectors. The person appointed will also have the opportunity to contribute to the pastoral, boarding and co-curricular life of the School.
